Butter The Chicken!

Okay, the title already got you thinking, didn't it? ;) To start off, I've got mono. And no, I haven't been kissing anybody. Haha Boy ... I don't remember ever being this tired. But, that doesn't keep me from laughing at my more and more frequent mistakes. For instance, the scene that today's blog title came from.

I was preparing Granny's dinner plate, and as my mother gave me instructions for the peas, I swear she said something about needing to butter the chicken. No, that doesn't make sense... does it? But, in my mono-mind, I didn't really think about it - I just did it. Mother looked at me funny and I was like, "You did tell me to butter the chicken, right?" Turns out, she didn't say a thing. Great... well, Granny loves butter, so it made her happy anyway. Haha But, how embarrassing!

And then, we were watching Little House and a boy was brushing a long necked animal. I wasn't really thinking and asked, "Is that a cow or a horse?" Mom and Dad both burst out laughing. How did I make a mistake like that?! Goodness sakes, I'm a country girl aren't I? Wow... I just have to laugh. That's my only good reaction.

So, here's a little more info on the moving situation:
My parents and I got back from a trip on Saturday. We spent our days in our camping trailer on the property. Honestly, I fell in love with the place. The country is absolutely amazing. I love being able to take a long jog through the forest and not worry about cars and busy streets. It's beautiful up there... every time I run I see something new. 

I can't wait to go back... I want to go as soon as possible. After all, Idaho's my home... right? Yeah, I guess it always has been. I love it there. The people are so happy, and I belong with them. It's an awesome feeling. Anyway, I just want to let you guys know that this move is for the better, and that from that trip on I've been in full favor. Though, I have to admit it's going to be really hard to let go of certain people here. But, let the adventure begin. (Of course, only when the mono is letting me free again)
