As for my writing. When you write a series, I know it's expected that you start with the first book. But, for several reasons, I have a feeling that my second (Capitonia's Heart) will be making the first appearance. It's nearing its finish, and I'll be more than delighted when it hits the lights. I've held this story in the dark much too long. Many of you - who've been waiting along with me - will likely agree.
So here's a thank you for your patience. I hope it's rewarded soon!
July came in with fire at its heels, and I say that literally. The heat in Utah is manifesting itself in many flames. But up here, in the forest, fire doesn't seem to be much of a concern. When we went to see fireworks, it was only fireworks - no burning hillsides as a backdrop. I thank the rain for this. It may be summer, but with the frequent downpours, I've come to imagine we're living on the coast!

I started writing my WIP and I've got the same feeling it's the second book and not the first in what I thought was going to be a three book series.
ReplyDeleteI finished my first book and am working on my second now, but I am enjoying it slightly more than i did writing the first. Something about second books I guess lol.
