A New Day

Sometimes, I just wish that I could start a day over, and today's been one of those times. That's why I'm so grateful for one of God's greatest gifts: tomorrow. I yearn for tomorrow, when I can wake in my soft covers and look at the clock and know that I have another chance. Because every day is a new day.

Life can be tough. We all have moments of pain, betrayal, regret, anger, etc. But all of those things can go away, if we choose to let them go and step into tomorrow. Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow. You're only a day away. Or a couple hours, if you're up as late as me, but I still have sleep to look forward to in the meantime :)

I'm so grateful for so many things. My testimony grows stronger every day ... and I know that there is hope for even the darkest of times :) That life maybe won't turn out the way we thought (It never does), but that that's okay, because God has a plan and it's a good plan.

When you go to sleep wishing something was different, or that you'd made more progress, remember: you have tomorrow. And if you wake up telling yourself that today will be great, it will be, just because you said so :)

I know I haven't blogged in a while! Been super busy. But I'm writing and still journaling like mad, so I promise my fingers haven't gotten out of shape. ;) God bless :)
Don't worry, be happy!

    1. Honestly, I often write these because I too need a reminder after a bad day :) So glad to be here! You're an awesome guy, and I'm grateful to know I can help someone.

  2. This is a good lesson learned. Something else I have been trying to apply to my life is ever hour/minute/second is a new start. As an individual we have a choice on how we respond to life. The saying seize the day is great, but I have always liked seize the moment better.

Good luck on having a great day today.
