Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.God wants us to be happy :) That is truth. Sometimes what we think of as happiness isn't what He thinks of - but He has the wisdom. And it's always important to remember that. Things may seem difficult when we're going through them, and we won't always agree to chosen paths, but following His guidance through life is vital. Of course, we have our agency, and we can go either way. But joy - true joy - is only at the end of one road: our Father's road.
We call it the Plan of Happiness for a reason! It leaves me in awe to think of it - how well He knows us, and how He knows every single thing we need. He prepared a way through everything. His way will bring us home. So, really ... why choose anything else?
Anyway, I could go on about the plan forever, but it's joy that I wanted to target tonight. It's something we should all go after :) We deserve to be happy. You deserve to be happy. God loves you. Period. He's never going to stop loving you. And as long as He loves you, He wants you to be happy. When I'm happy, I feel the Spirit that much stronger. When we smile, God smiles :)
So be happy! You might have noticed one of my favorite quotes on the side of my blog: Happiness is a choice. Really, it is. Lately, I've been letting myself go a lot (Kinda been crazy ;)), and it feels so good to just smile and feel the light :) Have joy. Life is good. This world is amazing. We are all blessed in so many ways :)
