10 Things I Learned at LTUE
- After walking from L14 to the Sorensen Center for three days straight, I now know that I really need more exercise.
- Authors are the friendliest people in this universe. :)
- It is possible to sound like anything, if you try (credit to the fabulous Mary Robinette Kowal).
- Vampires are not your boyfriends - (yes, for the record, I hate Twilight) - they actually live in pianos and lose their teeth. ;) (Jess Smiley)
- The gossip club of our lives is living within every computer - they call it 'Word of internet mouth.' Haha
- Traditional publishing is a dinosaur. ;) (Tracy Hickman)
- 'Stalk and steal' - is not only acceptable among writers, it's widely encouraged.
- When trapped in an unwelcome conversation, it is always appropriate to lie.
- 'Remember the wonder.'
- I never want to read a book about giant weasels (apology accepted, to whom it may concern).
Ha! I love it! I had a blast at LTUE. I LOVE hanging out with writers. It's true-- they are the friendliest bunch anywhere.

Ooh, I will have to look that up, because I do hate vampires who sparkle. Haha And Shelly, that entire class was hilarious. Mary and Sandra really got that ball rolling. :) Great to meet you, too!
