K is for Kneel
I love the feeling of kneeling in prayer. I keep seeing this quote and I don't know who said it, but it's absolutely true.
"When God's warriors go down on their knees, the battle is not over. It has just begun."Sometimes when I'm having a busy day, I begin to leave my room and the Spirit whispers to me, Talk to me. And I realize that I'm missing something vital. So I kneel, and I speak sincerely to my Father in Heaven, and it changes everything. There is so much strength and wisdom to be gained from setting aside time for communication with Him. He loves us and He wants to hear from us. He wants to help us, and we need to help Him do so by asking for His blessings and surrendering to His will. Only when we do that can we truly have His strength and power with us - and we need that so desperately.
Our Savior is our example in everything, especially prayer. He knelt and prayed to His Father many times. It is our duty and blessing to do the same. If you haven't taken the time to truly pray in a while, I challenge and encourage you to do so. It will change your life.
