K is for Keyboards and Things
I finally set up my new desktop today! :) And I've realized something: good tools are essential. I'm so delighted to be typing on a real keyboard again. :) And to have a mouse that doesn't freeze up. I felt the same way when I finally got a smartphone. Technology does have its cons, but its pros are pretty awesome. I love being able to share my thoughts, my memories, and know they're wandering around somewhere. I installed Google Chrome, logged in, and my bookmarks were there to greet me. It's like coming home.
Actually, that reminds me a great deal of the Church, and how things are the same. I can turn on my computer and find things the same, just like I can go into a new church building and partake of the same ordinances, hear the same doctrine, and feel the same Spirit. That's pretty amazing. One of my favorite parts of traveling is seeing how the Church operates in different places, and being able to feel at home. I'm so grateful for that.
I've got to get back to writing, among other things. :) So rock on, everybody! Happy Monday.
