In the game of life, there are many unexpected changes. Things happen that we don't see coming, and others that we do see - but that we don't look forward to. There's no running from change. It's natural in every way. Seasons bring change. People grow older. Our friends change, our opinions - even our senses of style and music and humor. To put it simply: We aren't here to stay the same. And that being the case, we have to be prepared for the changes that come.
Having an inner peace is vital for this part of life. If changes come and we're not balanced within, it becomes increasingly difficult to find a balance anywhere else. But if we are at peace, change doesn't bring chaos, but instead growth - which is the true purpose of it. :) The world isn't going to stay the same. It just isn't. So we can't expect it to. Instead, we have to be ready for whatever God sends our way.
So no matter which way river is flowing, or how tall the waves become, it's vital that we are capable of staying afloat. And if we fall, we just have to remember: Our lifeguard walks on water. <3
