A is for April!

It's that time of year again! Not only for Camp NaNoWriMo, but also - as I just barely realized - for the A-Z challenge! So I'm a little late getting here, but I'm here. :)

I pulled out my pencil today, and had to pose for at least one mad writer photo. ;) I've been working on Sanctuary 2 ever since Escaping Safety came out, but I promised myself that if I didn't get it done beforehand, April would be my month to finish the job. So here I am. Because there's nothing like NaNo and wild word counts to get the brain moving. :) I love the system of being able to track progress and set real goals. Sometimes I wish NaNo was all year round. But for now, I'm just grateful for this push to get things done. I can feel my characters screaming at me to not wait too long. They've seen their siblings (characters in other books) forever hidden in the dark, and they don't like it. ;) I can't blame them!

  6. My daughter is doing Camp NaNo, too. She's not terribly thrilled with her cabin-mates, as she's carrying most of their word-count by herself. I think next time she would like to team up with you. :-)
