Choose to Write

Handwriting

Journals :) They're the best! Most everyone knows I'm crazy about writing my daily words, and they're not usually under a few hundred ... guilty of insanity, perhaps, but I hope my posterity will thank me later :) Journal writing is my way of organizing my thoughts, venting, putting names to emotions ... I've made it a habit for almost three years now, not missing a day, and it's been a huge blessing. I challenge all of you to take it up. You don't have to be completely addicted like me, but ... writing things out helps. A lot.

Life is full of challenges, but when we overcome those challenges, we come away with something. We gain knowledge, wisdom, experience - all of which can benefit others, and especially our children. I love reading the stories and experiences of lives long gone, and I know others down the line will feel the same way. Therefore, no matter how embarrassing or depressing my journals may get at times ... I've kept myself from burning them. So far ;)

To every life, there is a story, and I believe - with a passion - that every story has the right to be told.

Is your story written? Have you left a little ink to your name for the future? If you haven't ... think about it. And as you write, look for the hand of God in your life. You'll find Him there - in every good deed, in every service, in every helping hand. And as you recognize Him, your personal relationship will grow stronger. You will get to know Him as you get to know yourself.

Choose to Write :)

PS: And if you ever wonder if you're in my journal ... Hehe, you probably are ;)
