The Gift of Life

In My Bag

We all came to this life with a bag of possibilities :) Who we were, who we could become, what we'd already experienced, and what we'd experience here. We knew beforehand what would happen in this life, and we still chose to come here, but of course ... most of us don't remember that now.

Imagine that you enrolled yourself in a special kind of school. You knew it would be difficult, and saw yourself failing and falling and hurting, but you knew that in the end you'd get back up. You knew that it would be worth it, and that what you learned would take you far in the eternities to come. That school is this life, here on Earth. You don't remember choosing to come, but you did, and you have to trust both yourself (your spirit) and your Father in Heaven that that was the right choice. It was.

We're all here for a reason :) And it may seem scary in a world of the unknown, but ... it's also beautiful and magical. We're where we're supposed to be. It's all part of The Plan - created by someone we can always trust. "God has a plan for you, and it's a good plan." (Jason Earl)

So make the best of it :) Live, laugh, love - experience it as God intended it to be experienced. Learn and grow, but don't forget to feel joy. Smile and keep smiling :) Explore your bag of possibilities - feel the countless things you're capable of accomplishing. Pray about who you are, and listen for the answer. You are special, vital ... beloved. Every one of you. We all are. And we're here on the road to being the best we can be.

Never take the gift of life for granted. It is a gift, and it is priceless.
