Pieces

Texture

My picture for 'texture' is my concrete wall against the pine tongue and groove ceiling. Just looking at it reminds me of a lot of hard work and how awesome it is when you finish something :) I'll be a little proud and say that I think we have the most beautiful ceiling around.

The message? Pine tongue and groove is really cool, because each piece relies on the previous one to stay in place. Of course, I had my fun with the nail gun to keep them up there, but they still all have to fit together. Much like building blocks, it happens one piece at a time.

Testimony is like that :) Lots of other things are, too. As we go through life, we gather building blocks and pieces that we need, creating whatever masterpiece fits us in the end. Everything we do and every choice we make has some say in the outcome. Sometimes, it feels really hard to keep working - to keep building. To keep living in a world so difficult. But it's worth it. Keep moving forward :) Every piece counts and is vital to the finished project.
