V is for Voice!
Each of us has a unique voice. It's the tool by which our thoughts and feelings are translated into words, actions, etc. Your voice can be audio or, through the written word, it can be visual. It can also be carried spiritually through a different kind of energy ... all depending on how you look at it. But either way, we all have a voice, and that voice influences others. In writing, finding your voice is vital. It's really important in life, too.
Often, we change our voice for different people. For example, you wouldn't talk to your boss the same way you'd talk to your spouse - unless, of course, they happen to be one in the same. But still - you adjust your voice for the situation and the people present. Because of this, you have to be careful. Don't let it change so much that it's no longer real - no longer you. And don't let it adjust in a bad way. Never be the one to change and join the bad. Let the others change and join the good with you. Walking into the bar to get your drunk friend just doesn't usually work. You're not suddenly immune to alcohol.
Some people have voices so different from themselves that who they are - or seem to be - is dramatically changed. I've definitely noticed that lately. And it can be confusing. I wonder how many of us really think about our voices ... and what messages we put out there ... 'cause I know that I, for one, am way surprised by some interpretations of my thoughts.
We need to watch our voices carefully. Words are powerful. Everything we say has a place in this universe somewhere, and our thoughts are equally powerful. Body language, attitude, views of life - it's all important. And it's all part of our voice. We can make it what we want it to be. But the more real and genuine, the far better - trust me. Don't be fake.
Keep an eye on your voice. Think about what messages you're sending to the universe, and keep them good and positive. Be an uplifting voice to others. Negativity and darkness don't get you anywhere.
Love you all!
